Putin made these remarks during an interview on Russian state television, discussing the upcoming U.S. presidential election on Wednesday, February 14.

“Biden, he’s more experienced, more predictable, he’s a politician of the old formation,” Putin stated when asked about the preferable candidate for Russia. “But we will work with any U.S. leader whom the American people trust.”

At a campaign rally, Trump seemed to embrace Putin’s criticism, stating, “Putin is not a fan of mine.”

When questioned about speculation concerning Biden’s health, Putin declined to comment, stating, “I’m not a doctor and I don’t consider it proper to comment on that.” He noted that Biden appeared in good shape during their meeting in Switzerland in June 2021.

Putin also addressed his recent interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, expressing surprise at Carlson’s lack of aggression. “I expected him to be aggressive and ask the so-called tough questions,” Putin said, indicating his readiness to respond sharply.
