Ruth Kadiri Debunks D**th Rumour, Reveals Truth About Alleged Accident
Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has dismissed reports claiming that she died or was involved in an accident, assuring her fans and members of the public that she is alive and safe.
According to reports, the actress addressed the development on her Instagram page after discovering that several social media accounts had been created to circulate false information about her alleged death.
Kadiri said she woke up to find that about seven or eight accounts were sharing content suggesting that something tragic had happened to her.
The actress strongly denied the reports, stating that she had not been involved in any accident and urged social media users to disregard the claims.
She also appealed to her followers and anyone who comes across the pages spreading the rumour to report them rather than engaging with or attempting to debunk the false reports.
“Hey guys, please note that I am alive. I did not have any accident and I am safe,” Kadiri said.
She expressed concern over what she described as a deliberate attempt to spread false information about her, noting that the accounts appeared to have been created specifically to circulate the claims.
Kadiri further urged members of the public to help report the accounts, saying that doing so would assist in stopping the spread of the rumour.
She advised her followers not to give the false reports additional attention by engaging with the pages, but instead to simply report them to the relevant social media platform.
The actress’ clarification comes amid growing concerns over the spread of fake celebrity death reports on social media, with Kadiri urging her fans to help prevent the false information from reaching more people.
