The agreement between Villarreal and AC Milan has settled on a €28 million transfer fee, consisting of €20 million as a fixed payment and €8 million in bonuses, pending a successful medical examination for Chukwueze.

The 24-year-old Nigeria international has already accepted a five-year stay at AC Milan and is scheduled to undergo his medical examination on July 25, according to reliable sources.

Sky Sport Italia indicates that there are only a few minor administrative tasks remaining before the Italian club can officially announce the player’s arrival.

The urgency to complete the deal was further amplified as Chukwueze’s current contract with Villarreal was set to expire at the end of the upcoming season.

However, due to his status as a Nigerian international, extra caution will be exercised during the transfer process, given that he does not possess an EU passport.
