In a statement released after the meeting, Saraki, who serves as Chairman of the PDP National Reconciliation Committee, said the gathering could have marked a divisive turning point but instead became a moment of clarity and cohesion. Saraki stated:

“This evening, our great party concluded its 100th NEC meeting. The event could have led to deeper division, but instead, we chose unity. There is no victor and no vanquished—this is a win for the PDP, for democracy, and for millions of Nigerians across the 774 local government areas.”

Looking ahead, Saraki urged party members to focus on the next NEC meeting scheduled for July 23rd and prepare for a successful National Convention. He stressed the need to maintain the momentum of Monday’s resolution and work collectively towards victory in the 2027 general elections.
