  • National Security and Intelligence will now be chaired by Senator Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi), who previously led the National Planning Committee.

  • Livestock and Animal Husbandry is now headed by Senator Shehu Buba (Bauchi), who has been redeployed from his former role as Chairman of National Security and Intelligence.

  • National Planning will be chaired by Senator Mustafa Musa (Yobe), succeeding Senator Abdullahi.

  • Air Force leadership goes to Senator Osita Ngwu (Enugu – Minority Whip), formerly the Deputy Chairman of the same committee.
