In a statement signed by State Chairman Adamu Idris, the party affirmed it would not be distracted by El-Rufai’s attempts to create division. The statement recalled that El-Rufai’s brief stint in the SDP was marked by internal conflicts and disruption, noting that peace and stability have been restored since his departure.

“Our structures are robust and active across Kaduna State. We remain committed to promoting the genuine interests of Nigerians and will not be swayed by El-Rufai’s divisive tactics,” the statement read.
