Senate Applauds Enugu Governor For Empowering Youth And Supporting NYSC

The commendation also highlighted the state government’s intervention in addressing the needs of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and ensuring the security of corps members serving in the state.
Senator Adeyemi Adaramodu, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Youth, Sports, and Community Engagement, conveyed this commendation during a working visit to the Enugu Government House on Wednesday.
The committee, conducting an inspection of NYSC facilities in the state, requested further intervention from the governor, particularly in areas such as funding and the re-equipment of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Agwu local government area.
Senator Adaramodu acknowledged the positive impact of Governor Mbah’s initiatives, not only in supporting the NYSC but also in engaging youth in governance and providing them with modern skills for empowerment.
The committee praised Governor Mbah for prioritizing the appointment of young individuals to drive the strategic objectives of his administration.
