During deliberations, Senator Seriake Dickson praised Tinubu’s selection of retired DIG Hashiru Salihu Argungu as Commission Chairman, citing his extensive police career as a valuable asset. Dickson emphasized Argungu’s qualifications and expressed confidence in his ability to contribute effectively to the Commission’s mandate.

Former Senate President Dr. Ahmad Lawan commended the Committee’s comprehensive report before Senate President Godswill Akpabio led the plenary in confirming the nominees in the Committee of the Whole.
