The letter, presented by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, emphasized the importance of expeditious consideration and approval of the appointment. Tinubu expressed confidence that the Senate would promptly review the nomination, stating, “Whilst hoping that this request will receive the usual expeditious consideration of the Senate, please accept, Distinguished Senate President, the assurances of my highest consideration.”

Amidu Tadese Raheem, the nominee, is a distinguished university academic currently serving as the Head of the Department of Public Administration at Fountain University, Osogbo.
