In an interview with Arise TV, Ningi emphasized the BOT’s role as the party’s conscience and its responsibility to bridge internal gaps for the sake of unity. He highlighted the effectiveness of the reconciliation committees and the importance of understanding the underlying issues.

Ningi detailed the BOT’s recent meeting with Governor Fubara in Rivers State, which lasted around two to three hours. During the meeting, Fubara confirmed his commitment to remain in the PDP, reflecting on his long association with the party since 2005. Ningi acknowledged the challenges and internal issues, particularly involving the current Minister of the FCT, and stressed the need for party unity and collective aspiration.
