Senators Ezea And Kalu Reflect On The Loss Of Ifeanyi Ubah

The senators noted that Ubah’s death was both shocking and devastating for both the Igbo community and the entire nation.

In his condolence message, former Abia State Governor Orji Uzor Kalu said, “My heart goes out to the Ubah family, the people of Nnewi, Anambra South, the government of Anambra State, and my Senate colleagues for the loss of our dear friend and brother, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. The shock and pain of this loss are profound.”

Senator Ezea, a prominent figure in the Labour Party, also mourned the loss, noting that the deaths of both Ubah and Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu have been a severe blow to the Igbo people.

“It has been a difficult period for the South East and the National Assembly due to the sudden deaths of our leaders,” Ezea remarked. “Just as we were coming to terms with Chief Iwuanyanwu’s death, the passing of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah struck us like a thunderbolt. His death is particularly shocking given his vitality and energy.”

Ezea praised Ubah as a patriot and dedicated lawmaker whose contributions will be remembered. He extended his condolences to Ubah’s family, the Anambra South Senatorial District, and the Nigerian Senate, where Ubah’s impact will be lasting.
