Speaking on the Honest Bunch podcast, Kosoko dismissed the widespread belief that movie directors and producers always demand sex in exchange for roles, insisting that no one is forced into such arrangements.
He further explained that some actresses enter the industry with the intention of leveraging sexual relationships to gain fame.
Kosoko also claimed that he knows some well-known actresses who deliberately used this approach to build their careers.
“If a director asks you to warm his bed for a role and you refuse, no one can force you. But if you accept, then it means you are willing to play by his rules,” he said.
“I’m not justifying it, but if you fall for it, that’s your decision. The whole world doesn’t need to be involved in your choices. This whole ‘sex for roles’ narrative is exaggerated. I know some ladies who entered the industry determined to climb the ladder through such means.
“I even know some popular actresses and, surprisingly, a magistrate who took this path.”
