Sh*ck As Uzochikwa Reveals Mercy Chinwo’s Health Scare In Second Pregnancy

Speaking during a church service, he recounted that the incident occurred while she was expecting their second child, who was later born in 2025.

According to him, Mercy Chinwo had left their bedroom and gone into their son’s room when she suddenly began to feel unwell before collapsing. He said she became unresponsive after the fall, which caused panic in the household.

Uzochikwa further disclosed that he immediately reached out to gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassey for urgent assistance. He explained that Bassey requested a video call to assess her condition before quickly arriving at their home alongside members of the Hallelujah Challenge prayer team to pray for her.

He added that following the prayers, Chinwo regained consciousness. He also noted that Pastor Bassey described the situation as a spiritual attack.

“Pastor Nath is a blessing to my family. We talk all the time, and I am honoured to have access to him. I can remember what he did when my wife was pregnant with my second child. She came out of the room and went to my son’s room,” he said.

“She started complaining and collapsed. Her face was dark, and I was confused because she was not responding. I called Pastor Nath, and he said that I should do a video call, and he came with the Hallelujah Challenge prayer team,” he added.

Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa got married in August 2022 and welcomed their first child, a son, in 2023. The couple later announced the arrival of their second child in August 2025.
