United States President Donald Trump has shared his views on why he believes he has continued to face assassination threats.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

He made the remarks while responding to a shooting incident that disrupted a media event in Washington.

The incident occurred on April 25, 2026, during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton, when a gunman triggered panic at the venue, forcing security operatives to intervene and abruptly end the event.

After order was restored, Trump stated that individuals who bring about major change often become targets of hostility.

He linked the incident to his presidency, saying his policies and decisions have significantly impacted the country, which he believes has generated opposition from certain quarters. He also drew parallels with historical figures who were similarly targeted due to their influence.

The President referenced a previous assassination attempt during a 2024 campaign rally, noting that despite such experiences, he continues to live without fear and remains composed under threat.

He said: “I’ve studied assassinations. I must tell you the most impactful people, the people that do the most… they’re the ones that they go after. I hate to say I’m honoured by that, but I’ve done a lot. We’ve changed this country, and there are a lot of people that are not happy about that. I lead a pretty normal life, considering, you know, it’s a dangerous life. To be honest, I’m not a basket case. A tremendous amount of love and coming together. I was ready to give the most inappropriate speech ever made.”
