During a resumed coroner’s inquest on Friday, Dr. Sanni Ayodele Daniel, a certified pathologist, presented the autopsy report, stating that Whitney’s death resulted from asphyxia induced by electrocution.

Dr. Daniel ruled out any underlying health condition or drug-related cause, asserting, “The cause of death is consistent with electrocution.” He cited medical evidence, including cerebral edema, subpleural petechial hemorrhages, electric burn marks on her right knee, kidney shock indicators, fluid blood, bilateral conjunctival petechiae, and abrasions on her right forearm, all pointing clearly to a fatal electric shock.
