Shehu Sani Criticizes Heavy Fines On Nigerians With PVCs Who Don’t Vote

Senator Shehu Sani has recommended that the Federal Government introduce significant fines for Nigerians with Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) who fail to vote during elections.

In a post on X, Sani stated:

“Imposing heavy fines on those who collect PVCs but do not participate in voting is the most effective solution to address the issue of low voter turnout.”
