Shimite’s Tragic End: Police Reveal Sh*cking Details Behind Governor’s Aide’s Passing

The Delta State Police Command has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Love Shimite, the Special Adviser on Trade and Export to Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.

Shimite, a well-known Trade and Economic expert, is believed to have died as a result of domestic violence early on Easter Monday.

Police Public Relations Officer for Delta State, Bright Edafe, confirmed her death, stating that she was pronounced dead at the hospital where she was taken.

Edafe clarified that while Shimite’s husband is not currently under arrest, he is being held in protective custody as the investigation continues. The family of the deceased has expressed suspicions that her husband may have been involved in her death.

Edafe emphasized that an autopsy will be necessary to determine whether the death was natural or caused by other factors, and assured that further updates would follow as the investigation unfolds.

He added, “He (the husband) was the one who reported that his wife passed away early this morning and mentioned receiving threats from her family, who feared he might be attacked. For his safety, we brought him in. The situation became more complicated when the deceased’s family filed a formal complaint with the police.”

The investigation is ongoing, with the police awaiting the results of the autopsy.
