Shock as UNIZIK Expels Female Student Over Brutal Attack On Lecturer
The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has expelled a female student whose viral video showed her assaulting a lecturer on campus.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The incident involved a third-year Theatre Arts student, Goddy-Mbakwe Chimamaka Precious, and Dr. Chukwudi Okoye. Precious was reportedly filming a TikTok video along a corridor when the lecturer attempted to pass. He lightly tapped her shoulder to get through, prompting an angry reaction from her.
In the video, she turned abruptly and exclaimed, “Imagine! Why would he touch me like that?” The situation escalated when Dr. Okoye confronted her over the remark. Precious allegedly dragged him in front of onlookers and bit him on the wrist and arm. Despite the provocation, the lecturer remained composed throughout the altercation.
Following an investigation by the Student Disciplinary Committee, UNIZIK authorities found Precious guilty of gross misconduct and violation of student disciplinary regulations.
In a statement signed by Acting Registrar Victor I. Modebelu, the university confirmed her immediate expulsion. The directive, issued on February 13, 2025, also orders her to vacate the school premises immediately.
