Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has challenged Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart, Dele Momodu, to refute his claim that he received over ₦500 million from former Vice President Atiku Abubakar while serving as campaign spokesperson in the 2023 elections.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking on Arise Television on Thursday, May 1, 2025, Lere Olayinka boldly stated, “Dele Momodu was Atiku’s spokesperson, and he cannot deny that he collected money. He took more than ₦500 million, and I challenge him to tell me face-to-face that he didn’t receive that amount from Abubakar.”

On the topic of Atiku’s proposed coalition ahead of the 2027 elections, Olayinka dismissed it as a plan to further Atiku’s personal interests. He expressed doubts about the feasibility of the coalition, stressing that it was doomed to fail.

He said, “The moment the coalition is centered around one person’s ambition, particularly Atiku’s, it won’t work. Will Peter Obi agree to run with Atiku, or vice versa? These are the issues, and it will not work. The respective candidates for 2027 will be clear by next year, so there’s no way a coalition can form a presidential candidate in that timeframe. It’s already dead on arrival.”
