Skales Reveals The Untold Secret Behind His Musical Success

Nigerian singer Raoul Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has credited a prayer at the 2013 Shiloh programme of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners’ Chapel, for his musical breakthrough.

After his contract with Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) ended, Skales faced a period of career stagnation. In a post on on Thursday, August 28, 2025, he revealed that his hit song, Shake Body, came after his friend and colleague, Timaya, took him to the Shiloh programme.

During the ministration, attendees were asked to write down seven things they wanted God to do for them. Skales wrote seven times that he desired a global hit song. Expressing gratitude, he described Shake Body as a “divine unending song,” saying, “Fast forward till today, He gave me a divine unending song… when they think it’s over, another thing pops up about this song… Lord Jesus, thank you.”
