According to a statement released by the Office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo, the apprehended individual had been causing fear and unrest in the Ala communities through criminal activities, utilizing a counterfeit pistol to carry out his unlawful intentions.

Commander Ganzallo revealed that preliminary investigations following the suspect’s arrest indicated that he had been operating independently. The statement further conveyed that both the suspect and the seized fake pistol have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, specifically the Obalende Divisional Police Headquarters, for an in-depth investigation and potential prosecution. This decisive action aims to address the threat posed by the individual and maintain the safety and security of the affected community.
