In a post shared on his Instagram page on Thursday, Speed Darlington expressed gratitude to one of his lawyers, David Ihuoma, who works under his lead attorney, Stan Alieke.

The singer, fondly called Akpi, praised David’s confidence, describing it as “10/10,” and accused the police of unlawfully detaining him due to alleged influence from higher powers involved in his case.

According to Speed Darlington, David played a pivotal role in advocating for his release, with the police even acknowledging the lawyer’s boldness in calling out corruption within the system.

He wrote: “This is Mazi David Ihuoma, one of my big lawyers who played a significant role in my case and continues to do so. His confidence is 10/10. Even the police admitted to his boldness and his direct way of reminding them that they are corrupt.

“They were supposed to release me but kept holding me against a court order. Thank you, Mazi David Ihuoma Esq. We are going all the way! They must pay me ₦300 million for violating my human rights. We’ll drag them harder than Stanley and I dragged that bank that wronged me two years ago.”
