Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State assured students at Lagos State University (LASU) that they will have access to the Federal Government’s student loan scheme. He made this commitment while speaking at the university’s 27th Convocation and 40th Anniversary in Lagos, where he also awarded N10 million to Olaniyi Olawale, the overall best student.

In his address, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized his administration’s dedication to empowering students in state-owned tertiary institutions to realize their full potential. He highlighted the importance of investing in education to nurture innovative thinkers and leaders who will contribute to Lagos State’s sustainable development and beyond.

He reiterated the Lagos State Government’s commitment to collaboration with the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to ensure that LASU students benefit promptly from the national student loan program.
