This road, which stretches from Igbogene through multiple communities and ultimately terminates at Onopa in the Yenagoa city center, was initially conceptualized during the tenure of former President Goodluck Jonathan when he served as the state’s governor.
During the inauguration ceremony, Sultan Abubakar expressed his pride in being associated with Senator Diri’s successful efforts in developing Bayelsa State.
He emphasized the importance of recognizing and appreciating the developmental strides achieved by the Diri administration and collaborating to enhance the well-being of the people.
The respected traditional ruler stressed that the nation’s strength lies in its diversity and urged the governor and his team to continue their meaningful impact on the lives of the people.
Sultan Abubakar’s visit marked his second trip to Bayelsa in 22 years, and he commended the significant progress made in the state during that time.
