Daniel Okoh, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), expressed a commitment to foster closer collaboration with NPHCDA to enhance healthcare accessibility, particularly in rural regions.

Okoh acknowledged the pivotal role that religious leaders play in advocacy and awareness campaigns, underlining the necessity of holding political leaders accountable to uplift the nation’s healthcare system.

Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, lauded the faith community’s contribution to healthcare within the nation.

Pate emphasized the importance of a partnership between the government and faith-based organizations. Noting the ever-evolving nature of the medical field, Pate underscored the necessity for consistent collaboration between healthcare providers and religious leaders.

Faisal Shuaib, the Executive Director of NPHCDA, encouraged religious leaders to collaborate in strengthening primary healthcare services and advancing the overall well-being of the nation. Shuaib emphasized the potency of unity and collective efforts in promoting health and holistic well-being.
