Supreme Court Victory: Prof. Ehiyamen Osezua Congratulates Governor Monday Okpebholo, Urges Unity For Edo State’s Progress

Austin, Texas – Professor Ehiyamen M. Osezua has congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo on the Supreme Court’s final ruling affirming him as the duly elected Governor of Edo State, describing the judgment as “a resounding victory for democracy, justice, and the unwavering will of the people.”

“This verdict reaffirms the sanctity of the ballot and the supremacy of the law,” said Prof. Osezua, a U.S.-based scholar, governance expert, and proud son of Esanland. “Governor Okpebholo now has the clarity and legitimacy to lead without distraction. The people have spoken, and the courts have upheld their voice.”

In the spirit of reconciliation and forward movement, Prof. Osezua also thanked Barr. Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, for graciously accepting the judgment and join hands with Governor Okpebholo in building a stronger and more united Edo State.

“At this defining moment, the interest of Edo State must come first. I urge Barr. Ighodalo to rise above partisanship, extend the olive branch, and work collaboratively with the elected leadership for the progress and peace our people deserve.
