Gunmen believed to be bandits have fatally shot a Moniepoint training officer in Zamfara State.

The victim, identified as confirmed by Umar Lawan Hassan, was gunned down by the attackers on Thursday morning, May 23, 2024.

Details surrounding the incident remain unclear at the time of reporting.

“Innalillahi Wainna Ilaihirrajiun. Bandits killed our MONIEPOINT state training officer (STO) ZAMFARA II, shot him today morning @Admitted to hospital and finally dead. May mighty Allah forgive his sins, may Jannatul Firdaus be his final abode Amen,” he wrote.
