Suspected Kidnappers Allegedly Murder Businessman In Nasarawa For Resisting Abduction

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly killed a businessman and the National Treasurer of Eggon Community Development Association (ECDA) in Nasarawa State, Chief Godwin Bala Ewuga.

According to various sources, Ewuga was fatally shot on Sunday night, May 26, 2024, in Ubbe, Akun Development Area of the state. The deceased, who owned the well-known Comfort Zone Motel in Ubbe, is believed to have been targeted for resisting abduction.

A statement from a family source, Jacob Ezekiel, revealed that Ewuga’s body was discovered on Monday morning in a farm close to his hotel.

Confirming the tragic incident on Monday, the spokesman of ECDA, Alhaji Umar Galleh, stated that the matter has been officially reported to the Nigerian police for necessary action.
