Suspected Robber Fatally Shot By Police In Confrontation Stolen Arms And Tricycle Recovered....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

A suspected armed robber met his demise in a confrontation with officers from the Delta State Police Command on Monday during an attempted robbery at Play Learn Academy School in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.

This incident unfolded in response to numerous reports of robbery activities in the area. Acting on these reports, the state command operatives conducted a raid along Redeem Road in Okpanam town. The suspect and his associates were apprehended with an English Pump Action gun and a cut-to-size single barrel gun containing three rounds of ammunition. However, his accomplices managed to escape during the exchange of gunfire.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, disclosed that the injured suspect, engaged in a shootout with the Delta Hawk Team and Okpanam operatives, succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

In a separate occurrence, operatives from the Orerokpe Police Division apprehended two suspected armed robbers who forcibly removed a woman from a moving keke (tricycle) and looted her belongings at Okudiete community in Okpe local government area.

The suspects were nabbed after the victim reported the incident. Despite one of the perpetrators managing to evade capture, the officials of the command successfully apprehended two individuals, recovering all stolen items, including a tricycle with the registration number ASB56QD, from the culprits.
