During the ceremony, Governor Abiodun emphasized that the selection of these permanent secretaries was based on factors such as seniority, merit, and the overall interest of the state’s residents.

He articulated, “My administration will continue to build on the foundation laid in the last four years. We place a premium on skills, experience, and honesty, and will persist in prioritizing the welfare of workers in the state.”

Governor Abiodun encouraged the newly appointed permanent secretaries, namely Mrs. Roseline Jacob, Mr. Samuel Oyeleye, Mrs.

Kehinde Akinola, and Mr. Oladipupo Ogunfowora, to foster close collaboration with their respective commissioners.

In subsequent interviews, both Mrs. Jacob and Mr. Oyeleye expressed gratitude to the governor for selecting them as permanent secretaries in the state’s civil service.
