Taraba ALGON Calls On Jalingo To Reconsider Upcoming Protest

In a statement issued on Tuesday, ALGON Chairman Dr. Aminu Jauro Hassan urged youths, women, clubs, and associations in Jalingo to avoid the protest. He highlighted the governor’s achievements, including the introduction of a minimum wage, promotion of free education, settlement of gratuities, humanitarian aid, and support for agriculture, as reasons to support rather than protest.

Hassan emphasized that the protest could undermine the governor’s progress and create an impression of disunity when solidarity is needed. He appealed to the community to recognize and support the governor’s positive efforts by staying away from the protest.
