Teen Titans! Tinubu Reacts As Nigerian Students Conquer Global Competition

President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to three outstanding Nigerian students who achieved global recognition at an international educational competition in the United Kingdom.

The trio — Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli — emerged as world champions in English language communication and debate at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition held in London.

Seventeen-year-old Nafisa earned the title of overall best in English language skills, while 15-year-old Rukayya was crowned the best in debate. Hadiza received the prestigious Outstanding Talent Award, clinching a gold medal.

In a statement released on Wednesday by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the students for their remarkable achievements, describing them as a reflection of the nation’s bright future and a testament to the excellence found within Nigeria’s youth.

The President also acknowledged the role of educational institutions in nurturing such talent, highlighting that the success of these students demonstrates the strength and potential of Nigeria’s education system.

President Tinubu reiterated his administration’s commitment to education as a cornerstone of national development, pointing to initiatives such as the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), designed to eliminate financial barriers for underprivileged students seeking higher education.

Encouraging the young champions to remain focused on their academic journey, the President wished them continued success and greater accomplishments in the future.
