Teenage Boy Dies After Alleged “164 Strokes” From Teacher In Ogun School (Video) Written By Oshiobugie John– A teenage student named Monday Ariyo has reportedly died following an alleged incident where he was flogged “164 times” by a teacher at Obada Grammar School, located in Imeko Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State.

According to Instagram user @justadetoun, the incident began when a teacher brought a dustbin into the classroom and instructed students not to break it. In response, Ariyo reportedly remarked, “Is it not our money they used to buy it?” The comment was taken to the school principal, who allegedly advised that the boy be disciplined. It’s reported that the teacher then flogged Ariyo repeatedly until he collapsed.

Ariyo was rushed to the hospital, but his condition deteriorated, and he sadly passed away. Video footage circulated online shows his body being placed in an ambulance at the Federal Medical Centre in Abeokuta.

In the video, Adetoun calls for an investigation and urges Ogun State authorities to take action to ensure justice. She expressed intent to travel to Abeokuta, warning that there would be serious consequences if Ariyo was buried before her arrival. Watch the video below.
