Teenager In Sokoto Taken Into Custody For Kidnapping AllegationsThe Sokoto State Police Command has arrested 18-year-old Abba Aliyu for allegedly kidnapping a two-year-old boy. In a statement released on Saturday by the commandās spokesperson, Ahmed Rufai, it was revealed that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of N2 million for the childās release, communicating this via phone call. A payment of N500,000 was made before the victim was freed.
Aliyu was apprehended at Badon Hanya, near the Zamson filling station, and has reportedly confessed to the crime.
