The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held its 177th regular meeting on Tuesday at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to a statement shared via the party’s official (formerly Twitter) handle, the session was chaired by APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and centered on vital matters related to internal party affairs and ongoing political developments.
While the party did not reveal detailed outcomes from the meeting, it emphasized that the gathering was part of the NWC’s routine efforts to reinforce party strategy and organizational structure in preparation for upcoming political engagements.
The statement read:
“Under the leadership of the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the National Working Committee convened its 177th regular meeting today at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja to deliberate on various party matters and ongoing activities.”
Meanwhile, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a warning to the APC, urging it to refrain from using personal attacks to deflect attention from what the ADC described as the shortcomings of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC accused the APC of behaving like an opposition party, despite having full control of the executive and legislative arms of government.
The ADC criticized the ruling party for what it called a failure to take responsibility, despite its dominance in Nigeria’s political landscape and control over the country’s vast resources.
