This revelation comes as efforts intensify to locate Turji, who has been linked to numerous violent crimes and terror activities across Nigeria’s northwestern states.

Turji’s Sightings Follow Bandit Leader’s Death
The recent discovery of Turji’s location coincides with the death of another notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Dogo Isah, who was killed on January 7, 2025, during a clash in Kachia Forest, Kaduna State.

The violent confrontation erupted when Isah’s group attempted to raid a cattle camp operated by Kachalla Musa, a former bandit leader who had embraced a government-backed peace initiative. The raid escalated into a fierce gunfight, leaving Isah and two of his men dead.

Security expert Makama confirmed the details of the encounter, noting that the clash broke out as Isah’s group sought to steal livestock from the peaceful camp.
