According to military sources, Kwalba’s surrender came as a result of intensified operations by the troops targeting terrorist hideouts in Kaduna State. The relentless efforts of the soldiers have exerted immense pressure on terrorist factions, compelling Kwalba and his fighters to capitulate.

This surrender is a crucial development in the fight against terrorism in Kaduna State and the surrounding areas. Upon surrendering, Kwalba handed over two AK-47 rifles, a motorbike, and two magazines loaded with 7.62 mm Special ammunition.
