Former Minister Oby Ezekwesili Rejects Proposal To Restore Old National Anthem

Oby Ezekwesili, former Minister of Education, has firmly declared her refusal to adopt the newly signed old national anthem as the country’s new anthem by President Bola Tinubu.

Ezekwesili made her stance clear through her X handle on Wednesday, May 29.

In her statement, she asserted that no one could silence her dissent against what she labeled as an “obnoxious law” contrary to the principles upheld by all individuals of good conscience in Nigeria.
