Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has initiated the distribution of 5,000 bags of rice and N5,000 cash to students of tertiary institutions at the College of Education Akwanga within the state.
This benevolent act was announced through a concise statement posted on the governor’s verified Facebook page on Wednesday.
The statement emphasized that Governor Sule extended this gesture as a form of palliative support to tertiary institution students in the state.
In specific detail, the statement outlined that at the College of Education, Akwanga, a total of 2,500 students are beneficiaries, sharing 5,000 bags of 7.5kg rice, alongside N5,000 cash each.
“This compassionate initiative is part of the government’s broader strategy to alleviate the prevailing hardships experienced across the country,” the statement further explained.
