They’ll Be Sh*cked! Dan Ulasi Reveals Why Tinubu Can’t Rig Out Peter Obi

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dan Ulasi, has expressed strong confidence that Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate Peter Obi will emerge victorious over President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Ulasi made the statement on Friday while speaking at the funeral of the late Madam Veronica Uduifeoma Unachukwu in Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State.

According to him, he had previously told the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, that Obi would defeat Tinubu in the next general election.

Speaking at the event, Ulasi declared that Obi’s victory was inevitable, insisting that no form of electoral manipulation would prevent the former Anambra State governor from becoming president.

“We will defeat him convincingly, and Peter Obi will be declared President-elect next year. It is God’s plan. Obi represents the hope and manifestation of the Igbo people,” he said.

He further claimed that the outcome of the election would surprise many Nigerians once the votes were counted, adding that those behind electoral malpractice would be unable to manipulate the process against Obi.

“After the votes are counted, people will be surprised by what happens. Tinubu cannot rig the election against Obi because we know how to stop such actions. If Obi is rigged out, it would be like rigging God out,” Ulasi stated.

The PDP stalwart also praised Obi’s leadership qualities, arguing that he possesses the vision needed to transform Nigeria within a single four-year term.

“He is destined for this moment. God brought him, and he is a man who will make history. He will rebuild the country for the benefit of ordinary Nigerians,” he added.

Ulasi, who was appointed in 2022 by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as Technical Adviser on Contact and Mobilisation for the South-East, blamed Nigeria’s persistent economic and social problems on poor leadership and the mismanagement of public resources.

He maintained that the country’s private sector has the potential to drive sustainable economic growth if provided with the right leadership, while expressing optimism that the NDC would play a decisive role in the 2027 presidential election.

Reflecting on the life of the late Madam Veronica Unachukwu, Ulasi revealed that she adopted him as her son nearly two decades ago after he lost his biological mother at the age of 64.

He described her as a compassionate woman known for her generosity and love for others.

“I remember her for always caring for her neighbours and sharing whatever she had. I believe she is in Heaven. If you get there and don’t find Mama, then leave quickly because those you meet may not be the right people,” he said.
