The announcement of her reinstatement, confirmed this week, brought her a deep sense of relief, as she believes it finally clears her name after months of uncertainty.
She noted that the support she received throughout the ordeal helped her stay grounded and strengthened her belief that her side of the story had at last been acknowledged.
Reflecting on the July incident, Shirley explained that she acted purely in self-defence when the situation escalated beyond control. She added that the experience taught her valuable lessons about staying calm, even when she feels unfairly treated, and showed her how quickly misinformation can spread.
According to her, the episode pushed her to improve her composure during tense moments.
Shirley said she now intends to approach future film sets with greater caution—keeping a clearer mind, communicating more intentionally, and allowing her manager to take a more active role in managing interactions to prevent misunderstandings.
During her time off, she said she used the break to rest and reflect deeply on her career. The pause, she added, helped her reconnect with her passion for acting and clarified the kind of projects she wants to be involved in moving forward.
