Three Dead Following Helicopter Crash Near Port HarcourtThree individuals have been confirmed dead following a helicopter crash into the waters of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The incident occurred at 11:22 a.m. on Thursday along the waterways in the area.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The helicopter, a Sikorsky SK76 with registration 5NBQG, was operated by East Wind Aviation and was en route from the Port Harcourt Military Base (DNPM) to the Nuimantan oil rig.
According to Odutayo Oluseyi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, there were a total of eight people on board. The aircraft ditched into the waters near Bonny Finima in the Atlantic Ocean, prompting authorities to initiate rescue operations.
