Tinubu 2027 Campaign Gains Momentum As APC Unveils Over 200 New Media Members

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled the members of its New Media Committee for the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council as preparations intensify for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.

The list, released under the Renewed Hope 2.0 campaign platform, comprises more than 200 members who are expected to drive the party’s digital communication and online engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Details released alongside the list also showed the leadership structure of the Office of the Director of New Media, with officials assigned responsibilities at the national and geopolitical-zone levels.

Dada Olusegun was named National Director, while Solomon Arowolo was appointed National Secretary. Ningi Ahmed and Jubril Gawat were listed as Deputy Directors for the North and South respectively.

The committee also includes officials responsible for administration, operations, strategy, diaspora engagement and liaison activities with the APC.

Six regional coordinators were equally appointed to oversee the party’s new media operations across the South West, South East, South South, North West, North Central and North East geopolitical zones.

In a statement announcing the committee, the Renewed Hope 2.0 platform presented the members as part of the APC’s Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections and urged them to begin work.

The development highlights the ruling party’s early efforts to strengthen its digital campaign structure ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

With social media and other digital platforms playing an increasingly important role in political campaigns, the new media team is expected to coordinate online messaging, engage voters and promote the party’s campaign activities across various platforms.

The unveiling comes amid growing political activities and preparations among political parties as the country gradually moves towards the 2027 general elections.
