The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, has emphasized the need for collaborative efforts among all arms of government and other stakeholders to build a prosperous Nigeria.

Speaking through the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, at the inaugural Legislative Open organized by the House of Representatives on Wednesday, President Tinubu declared that the responsibility of creating a strong and united Nigeria lies not only with the executive branch but also with the legislative and judicial branches.

Tinubu affirmed his administration’s commitment to cooperating and collaborating with other arms of government and stakeholders to create a Nigeria that everyone would be proud of.

He urged lawmakers to engage in thorough oversight of government activities as part of their check-and-balance role to ensure accountability and to make necessary corrections when needed.

Furthermore, President Tinubu reminded the legislators of the importance of holding regular town hall meetings with their constituents in Abuja to ensure that everyone can contribute to governance.
