Nigerian human rights activist, Reno Omokri has urged the People’s Democratic Party to adopt the Fethullah Gülen style used by the President-Elect to counter him in future elections.

Gülen encourages his followers to engage in community service and social initiatives to contribute to the betterment of society. His movement has established numerous educational institutions, including schools and universities, in various countries around the world. These institutions often prioritize science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education while promoting values such as empathy, compassion, and social responsibility.

Omokri, 49 therefore his urged his party to adopt this style to either counter or destroy him in future elections.

He also made it known to via his Twitter that the army, judiciary, INEC and the civil service are all levelled in his favour.

He said;

“Bola Tinubu has perfectly implemented the Fethullah Gülen style of politics, and we in the PDP must also play it, or he will keep outfoxing us. Start now by sponsoring young PDP-leaning Nigerians through school. When they graduate, encourage them to join the civil service, INEC, judiciary, diplomatic service, and the army. Keep them in place as sleeper cells to advance the party’s interest within government and to be in pole position to influence future elections in our favour legally.”

“Tinubu has his own deep state within the Nigerian state. His own version of Ergenekon. And we in the PDP must either counter him by having ours or go the Erdoğan route by destroying his, so there is a level playing ground. Because, right now, most grounds, including the Judiciary, are levelled in his favour.”

“It is a long game—a marathon. And if we do not beat Tinubu at this game, which he has been playing for 26 years, we will keep playing catch up in the future.”
