It is important to note that Atiku’s loss of the presidency was due to his inability to solve the internal crisis that was rocking his party before the primaries. He failed to secure Obi and Kwankwaso after the primaries lost five governors namely  Wike, Ortom, Makinde, Ikpeazu, and Ugwuanyi.

Moreover, this is Atiku’s sixth appearance either in the presidential primary or on the ballot paper, as he has been contesting since 1993.

Atiku Abubakar alongside Obi and three parties are currently in a presidential tribunal with different petitions challenging the victory of the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 1993.

On Monday, Deji Adeyanju in his replies to tweeps claims reminded the PDP flagbearer and his supporters on why he lost the election.

He added “Atiku is to blame for everything that happened to him. He is also responsible for the division in the opposition and the eventual emergence of Tinubu.”
