A statement from presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale conveyed Tinubu’s commitment to revolutionizing agriculture, aiming for Nigeria to be self-sufficient in food production and a net exporter of agricultural products. The president assured the delegation of his administration’s support for plans to facilitate Hajj pilgrims and emphasized the importance of collaboration between political and spiritual leaders to advance national interests and foster unity among the people.

Regarding agriculture, President Tinubu outlined initiatives to enhance productivity, including the expansion of farmlands, provision of low-interest loans to farmers, and substantial investments in irrigation infrastructure. He emphasized a dedication to equipping hospitals with modern equipment, providing healthcare professionals with training, and ensuring comprehensive health insurance coverage for all citizens.
