Musa explained that the financial assistance was presented to the students through the visit of the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, to the state.

The Commissioner expressed gratitude on behalf of the Zamfara Government and extended appreciation to President Bola Tinubu and the minister for their generous support to the students.

Each of the 14 students received a cash token of N214,285 from the Federal Government.

He emphasized the state government’s commitment to collaborating with the Federal Government to address the challenges faced by victims of the humanitarian crisis in the state.

The Commissioner also acknowledged the university’s management and the parents of the affected students for their patience, understanding, support, and cooperation during this difficult period.
