President Tinubu Sets Date for Inaugural FEC Meeting
President Tinubu has marked next Wednesday for his inaugural Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting since assuming the presidency on May 29.
The first FEC session is slated to take place following the swearing-in of new ministers into the president’s cabinet on Monday.
Sources indicate that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, and the cabinet office are collaboratively shaping the agenda for the initial FEC gathering.
This gathering is anticipated to resemble an induction event, where President Tinubu will communicate his priorities under the Renewed Hope Agenda to the incoming cabinet.
Additionally, the FEC meeting might green-light the Ministerial retreat, which is anticipated to occur immediately afterward, as reported by Western Post.
