President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his satisfaction with leaving Nigeria’s economy in capable hands during his speech at the inauguration of the Dangote Refinery in Lagos.
He emphasized the importance of supporting and encouraging entrepreneurs and creating an enabling environment for investments and business growth. President Buhari stated his confidence in his successor, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to sustain the progress made in the economic and business sectors and further strengthen public-private partnership policies. In addition, President Buhari advised other entrepreneurs to follow the same path, urging them to emulate the exemplary Nigerian industrialist, Aliko Dangote, and collaborate with the government to accelerate the country’s growth and unlock its economic potential. He acknowledged the expectations from other African leaders regarding Nigeria’s capacity to lead Africa’s rise to economic prosperity and achieve the goals outlined in Agenda 2063 – ‘The Africa we all want’.
